Ergodyne - EGO19311 Retractable Tool Lanyard with Carabiner Mount is a lightweight and durable tethering solution designed to mount to your D-ring, belt or another anchor point. Using a retractable lanyard limits potential snag hazards. Lanyard tethers tools weighing up to 0.5 lb. (0.23 kg.) in a retracted state. It prevents tools weighing 8 lb. (3.6 kg.) from falling when working at heights. Aluminum carabiner with double-action, self-locking gate connects to tools. Swiveling anchor end rotates tools to reduce tangles. Retractable cord is made of high-strength, cut-resistant Dyneema with a protective sleeve over the exposed cord to reduce wear and tear. Durable, ABS plastic housing is textured for better grip and protects the internal workings of the retraction. Tapered cord exit limits concrete and other debris from entering. Retractable cord reaches up to 48" (122 cm). Lanyard is tested and approved to ANSI/ISEA 121 standard for tool safety while at heights to prevent dropped objects.
